Eight days. One city. Zero boring nights. Call times posted nightly in the group chat.
Land, hug, drop bags, then straight to an LA legend: Joe Hisaishi conducting the LA Phil playing his Studio Ghibli scores under the stars. Picnic dinner in our seats. 8pm downbeat.
Easy morning, then a private family acting session at 1pm with Nick's trainer Tyler. Evening: Griffith Observatory for telescopes, the Hollywood Sign, and the city turning gold.
Swan boats on Echo Park Lake, tacos, hammock time. At night the 13-and-up squad hits Cinespia: Edward Scissorhands outdoors at Hollywood Forever, with DJs and a photo booth. Littles get movie night HQ.
All thirteen of us take over a Business Class car on the Pacific Surfliner, ocean out the window the whole way up. Pier, Funk Zone, and the MOXI museum. Train bingo provided.
Sleep in on purpose. Afternoon at The Americana: shopping, the dancing fountain, dinner, and a movie in a fancy theater. Early night. Tomorrow is the big one.
The original park, all day. We picked Tuesday because the lines are shortest. Rope drop at opening, Lightning Lane for the big rides, fireworks if legs allow. Matching shirts are NOT optional.
Recovery morning, then a private class at Krater Studios where we film a family scene we'll keep forever. Backyard farewell: taco truck, glass-bottle Cokes, and the chickens make their red-carpet appearance.
Big family breakfast (eggs courtesy of the hens), last hugs, airport runs. The shared photo album premieres by the weekend.
Democracy, Hollywood-style. Ballots go straight to the hosts — no vote-swaying your siblings.
Lock in your seat. Flight info helps us plan pickups, and shirt sizes are for a Disneyland surprise.
Everything you need, one scroll away.
Nick & Zach's place — 1529 Marsden Street, Los Angeles 90026 (Echo Park). Group meals, chicken visits, and the farewell feast happen here.
The Airbnb — 1567 Paul Terrace, Los Angeles 90026. One block from Base Camp. Anthony has the keys and the thermostat authority.
Frankfort crew: fly ORD or MDW into Burbank (BUR) if you can — it's closer and calmer than LAX. Atlanta crew: ATL to LAX nonstop is easiest. Rental car counters are at both.
Layers! Bowl and Cinespia nights drop into the 60s. Comfy shoes (Disneyland is a half-marathon), swimsuits, sunscreen, and one outfit you'd wear on a red carpet. You'll see.
You will be meeting RuPaul, Trixie, Saphirra, Bianca, Sasha, Katya, and Bob. Three of them are roosters. All of them are stars. Morning egg-collecting slots available for kids.
Family photos premiere here soon — embarrassing throwbacks are being curated as we speak. Check back before the trip.
Eleven more residents of the Echo Park compound. They did not audition. They simply moved in.
The flock is loose. You have 20 seconds. Tap every animal you can. Chickens are 1 point, dogs are 2, Plexus the cat is 5, and if the golden RuPaul appears, that is 10.
Every round posts your score to the family scoreboard. The Coop Chaos Champion is crowned at the farewell taco feast.
